One of the greatest desires of mankind is peace in our soul. God tells us in His Word that this peace can only come through a relationship with Jesus Christ who reconciles us to Himself. Thinking With God - The Power of Hope
Hope is a very strong emotion. It can pull us through life when nothing else will, as long as it is rightly focused.
Waiting for our blessed hope, the appearing of the glory of our great God and Savior Jesus Christ - Titus 2:13
Jesus is our hope! He will never fail us nor forsake us. We long to be with Him with confident expectation, knowing He died for our sins and rose from the grave. This hope carries us through to the end.
My hope is built on nothing less,
Than Jesus’ blood and righteousness.
I dare not trust the sweetest frame,
But wholly lean on Jesus’ name.
On Christ, the Solid Rock I stand,
All other ground is sinking sand; All other ground is sinking sand!
Let’s place all our hope in Christ today!
